I studied in Mary Nilayam convent till fourth standard then got admitted to Christ Nagar through an entrance exam. I got selected only due my good score in maths while other subject I got screwed up hence became last one to be admitted.
Then after tenth got admitted in KV there also I was the last one to be admitted. One specialty was there. There were only nine seats and I was the eighteenth one and that too hoping to get in KVs I didn’t give application to other schools.
Then for engineering entrance I scored three digit rank. My teachers expected a rank which is that good to get in CET or in NIT. I got admitted to Barton Hill there also second last one to be admitted. Then our final year came and campus recruitment started I got placed in HCL and due to some bad luck I was not able to appear for other companies. Ie Infosys allowed only one supply but I had two till that day. The next day result came that I had only one left to clear. Same thing happened for CTS also. I thought these were all due to bad luck. I gave a good thought about what happened in my past. Then I realized that when ever I lost something and gained lower things it has proven good to me. You people know what all I gained from KV. Also found that I am lead through a clear path without any ambiguity and felt that I will reach my destiny safe enough in the hands of god. I was never let to make a choice from many and still it continues………

Mangale, Mangale....................(Mangal pandey)
Bar Bar ha Bolo Yar ha......................(Lagaan)
What feeling does these song produce in us.?
Sense of patriotism. He doesn't appear to understand the view that there may be people with varied interests other than the tech field and being an engineer you are at an advantage in entering many other fields as engineers learn to solve real world problems. He has to understand that even when Teaching is a noble profession or you can serve the country by writing IES there are guys out there with totally different perceptions
And about our class assignments and class test. They want to make this institution into an IIT and has categorically succeeded in converting it into the level of a convent school. All these concerned authorities should understand that we are of age to decide what is good for us and not.In professional courses the role of teachers should be just to give a direction into the course and not to make students sit and study. The class assignments intended to help us score in university will surely help in reducing sessional marks.
Now the insult aimed at playing.'Panthu thatti kalikkunnu'.Man I am so fed up with these egg headed scholars.I am not venturing into a rhetoric about the advantages of sports.Companies dont recruit machines. They recruit humans who are susceptible to stress and only people who have hobbies or indulge in sports can escape from it.Not all can read tech articles or literature works at times of strain.
And last of all I want to wish my class all the best in dominating the system through co-operation , copy the meaningless assignments , just do what you feel is right.

Hey friends its donkey time. usually myself(Bazooka Shyam), Theppu Radkris, Self theppu Prasanth starts the game. Then comes Vikki the dark horse. After a few minutes a perfect circle with lots of people is formed and our match begins.
Some prominent figures are Kolan Shyju, Side Kick Nishad, Maestro Binu, Kalari Vishnu, Gap Vasu, Bullet Motty, Para Hari, Kidu Harikrishnan, Mammooty Shanu and last but not the least myself Bazooka Shyam.
Here comes the whistle, throw in by Vikki and Radkris who is belligerent in nature comes attacking for the ball. The first one to become donkey will be myself, Nishad or Radha. Sometimes i stay till the very end.
Now some facts about players. Let me start with Vasu who doesnt want to be ironed. When he gets ironed and get out of the match he starts arguing, calling good names and atlast moves out of the field showing symbols and threatening others. Some people are there in the group who play with style and elegance like Binu, Jose, Vikki, Rahul and Harikrishnan. Special mention about Harikrishnan who plays with such a panache that he saves everybody and puts himself in trouble. Now about side kick Nishad, he plays well but uses all unwanted style and banana kicks to become donkey first.
Sometimes we are divided in to small groups, specially Kidu hari and Shanu.they stand together and iron each other. But one fact four shots given to Shanu, will finish his game. There comes our final lots like Binu, Jose, Prince,Rahul or sometimes Prasanth. Winner of this match will be specially considered in next match and ensure that he goes out first.
Every one ask us what do you gain from this game?
We all say unanimously its for masti, dosti and thandurusthi.
Every day morning i wake up thinking what to do today, then suddenly Eureka!!!!we have yet another day to Donkey. Iam talking about the ones people share with one another. When do we call a particular 'link' between a person, a 'relationship'? To put it simply, its a just a superfluous word, giving more emphasis on the 'connection' than it actually means.

A person, say my junior in college and I share a discrete association. This association maybe rightly termed as a relationship. The reason for this association could be the fact that we are college-mates or simply the fact that we are both engineering students. What I'am trying to accentuate here is, how wrongly we misunderstand and misuse the word relationship when actually it is something we share with tons of people, many of whom are only an acquaintance.
This relationship thingy is promoted to a 'bond' when you and I share something more intimate than just an acquaintance or 'connection'. That's where the beauty in relationships lie, and that's where it has been confused. Also, to me, this R word sounds really formal and formal is how it was intended to be when the word was first coined. I mean, think of it, whenever we use informal language, we seldom use words with more than 2 or 3 syllables. Its a fact, just analyse your talks with your friends and yourself. Its simply too long a word with 4.5 syllables to be accepted as informal.

Now lets talk about 'bond'. Bond develops between two people when the mutual trust between the concerned parties escalate. This bond naturally grows deeper and deeper with every increase in this 'mutual-trust'. Mutual-trust is the blind trust, yes, the blind trust that exists between 2 people. I trust you with my life, say, then to me you are as close as my next of kin. You may not actually be willing to lay down your life for me, but my belief in your ability leads to trust. This vividly describes another aspect of a 'bond'. Bond is relative, its one sided. What I see as an intimate relationship, someone else need not, simply because what he/she attributes to trust need not be what I follow. And its definitely one sided, as was obscurely pointed out in my 'laying-down-your-life' example. A trusts B with what he values most and feels an intense amount of bonding. B trusts A with what he values most, which may be different from A's and therefore might feel a different level of intensity in his bonding towards A. And that's what makes us so imperfect. Everything in this universe has a symmetry, good-evil, light-dark, small-huge, God-Devil, etc. And assuming God exists and he created the universe, we can safely presume the universe to be perfect. And anything which threatens this symmetry is an imperfection. That's where we bozos come in. Cos, after all perfection needs a symmetry too, imperfection!

But don't let this deter you, cos this is inexorable. Life's like this, it doesn't seem fair at times. We are basically primates who only think of ourselves first. This cannot be outrightly termed selfish. Because that sequence of thoughts and actions are engraved, etched into our DNAs from time immemorial. No matter who you are, you have got to admit, that in times of crisis our first thought, maybe very very insignificant, concerns us and us alone. Heck, even our bodies respond that way, by kicking in extra defensive hormones, that help us 'fight'. When do we fight; when we got to defend ourselves. And what are we doing when we are defending ourselves; we are thinking of ourselves.

So the next time you feel a bit let-down, because the 'bond' you share with someone seems stronger than the 'bond' they share with you; for heaven's sake stop thinking of yourself and think of some other person whom you are not giving as much they give you. Giving here is synonymous with intensity of 'bond'.

If the trust's gone, the bond deteriorates. That's exactly how I feel right now with many people whom I believe I share a bond with. Before you get the wrong idea, its not me who has lost the trust, its them who have lost the trust in me and its all my fault..... But once that special 'association' survives this test of doubt, it will indubitably grow stronger.

The bright side - Life's fair too.
----- #007-----

Hai friends now a days we are too much concerned about SIMI, LTTE and even letter bombs in our native place.bomb blast in Bombay, terrorist attack in Srinagar has killed many leaving many injured. But friends focus your views on our current news paper what do you see?
Death everywhere, but not due to bombing or bullets fired. Yes the answer is latest fatal epidemic that killed many innocent people and left some people behind to suffer its aftermath. Mind it death rate is increasing.
Our major concern goes to Dengue fever and Chikungunya.Major cause of these diseases are Mosquitoes. The virus present in the stripped mosquito is injected in to our body during mosquito bite which gets multiplied into large numbers. Everything starts with a simple fever then joint pain atlast can lead to death if not properly treated.
Now about Chikungunya, the person effected by it is reduced into a fatigue stricken body with full of pain. It can even lead to death.
Surprising fact is that virus causing chikku is same as that one which cause Dengue. It is only a mutated version of the older one.
Till now no antidotes or cure has been found out. Leave cure prevention is in our hand. It does not require govenments help or any opposition party picketing assembly meetings. It is as simple as a days work on our surrounding. Never allow water to stagnate around your house. (ie) never leave a place for these devils to live or breed.
Special attention: If you having fever or joint pain never use paracetamol to reduce it. Rush to your nearest hospital. It can be any of these diseases. Doctors can only give medicine to lower your body temperature. Nothing else is possible against this disease.
I have heard that Homeo is delivering preventive for this disease. Dont know whether it will works .
So friends gather round and fight against the villian of the day "TIGER Mosquito".

This is my first blog read and give comments-SAM

So.. pickin up frm were my pal left!! abt the borin hours at the college.. today was yet another day in coll.. but thursday is a day we love... jus one theory class. and five non theory classes.. dont hav to listen to all the teachers teachin as if theirs is the only subject we hav to study.. the day satrted off by alex sir sayin in his "best" voice tat he cudn take class.. To them, all I have to say is, die, for you are insulting God. We are gifted with a brain to think, to think ahead. It doesn't necessarily mean thinking hard till you freak out. We are not animals who base our actions on our first instincts. We call monkeys intelligent not because they can recognize colours or imitate actions, but because they think ahead about their food needs and do what's necessary to ensure their survival. We have become what we have become because of thinkers. We have survived the test of time and because they chose to think and their ensuing actions have benefited us, posthumously. (Why did I say all that, ah...)

So where was I, ah, yes, black-out. Well thanks to the ACs in the lab, once the current's gone, we feel like incubated chickens. Fortunately we weren't as oppressed as I expected to be, went to canteen, cut time there. Hoped against hope for the power to remain kaput, but it came back, a whole half hour before the lab class was supposed to get over. I dragged the temple of my punished soul into the hell-hole that some so fondly call 'Internet Lab'. Computers, no matter how old-how new, how slow-how fast, whether working-not working always pep me up beyond all expectations. This time, as if Mr. Almighty had mercy on me, had two computers to myself. In the other comp, I logged on as our HOD's user, he he... The resulting confusion that ensued in his bald head, well, blame it on his meager experience with computers. The lab hour passed without too much ennui.

What were to follow, was expected, hours of boring class. Thanks to Puja holidays, our 'teachers' found ample amount of time to correct our exam papers. Needless to say, I sucked big time. No complains. I got more than I bargained for. Reason for me quoting teachers- that is the professional name given to people who carry some notes in their hands and do their job of 'educating' students. 'Teachers' here is spoken of literally and has lost its age old figurative adherence. To them, we are all a bunch of numbers (Iam # 007) like prisoners in a fortified prison. Come to think of it, the classroom's like a jail with fortifications like our principal. I feel, our lecturers are far more proficient at keeping people 'in' than prison gaurds with Ak-47s.

I had reached the threshold of my will power to remain seated when it struck 3 pm and our classes ended prematurely. That's it folks, another boring day (ahem.. excuse me) at college came to a welcome, long-awaited, heaven-sent end.

Let me bid adieu to people who share my pretty straightforward (though seemingly convoluted) views. Lets hope tomorrow isn't yet another day like the one described so comprehensively in my post.

Sayonara folks!

This Blog is intended to remove the geekish monotonousness set-in inevitably by our previous blogs intended to reduce the work-load of our fellow classmates.

This blogging account is shared by 9 characters. Courtesy - 1 particular character for all the assembly programs so far. Iam another among those 9, good for nothing when it comes to academics. The only thing Iam good at is typing away till my fingers ache or till my brains run dry.

I really have no idea what to start blogging with, had stopped blogging more than 3 years back. Ok lets speak about the day at college.

College was once a home away from home, but now it has seemingly become less interesting. Personally, have tried to exhume all the excitement that once existed when the word rang in my head. Today, like any other day, has with its fleeting moments, passed, with no events or incidents whatsoever to remember for life. The routine amount of fun and work were undoubtedly present today too, as if one-on-high; grounded, mixed and gave it to us, lesser beings, like a cook presents his time-tested recipe.

Is this my attitude problem that I see the day as nothing special? Or is it the people, the happenings in the day that make one feel so? Or is it the regular and routinely visits to college that eradicate the sense of belonging and hence the familiar feeling of wanting-to-come-back? Whatever it may be, every human being is entitled to believe as he pleases and as he finds most convenient. Thence, I believe it was the people I spend time with and the course of actions that didn't mark this day as special. (I took 3 paras to just say college was boring! sheeeesh! When will I learn to cut the crap !?)

The people, by now the reader (if any) would have guessed them to be none other than our lecturers, professors and HOD who are dictators in their own right and the college-their country, the students - their subjects who have to silently bear the academic oppression thrust upon them. The day started off with me hurrying to finish my literally filthy record. I remember once using the best of writing etiquettes in duly filling my record with numerous experiments that Iam never going to do in life. The day I realized that, I dumped my pencil box. Carry only a pen. The mistakes you make, strike it off, cos just like in life, you can't erase any mistakes, you can only chuck them away. And after all this hurrying, all I get is a measly attendance. That makes me wonder, is that all we sweat our brow out for, drive at break-neck speed for? Risking my life for attendance? I had sunk in my own eyes, giving value to things that don't matter later. But that's basic human psychology, we always tend to devote most time and space for the matters at hand without thinking of the repercussions. To err after all is human. continued...

Ok, started fiddling with the comp in my lab, just as the mood set in, the whole lab blacked out. It was as if, I weren't meant follow anything academic. (Crap the blog's getting irrefutably long part 2 beckons...)

v students of s7ec have to do microprocessor lab this sem
its been found out that there does not exist code for prog
that have to b performed in any book. lookin carefully one
can see that the objective includes either havin to multiply
or divide higher bits ie 32 and higher which is not available
as a single word command in the 16 bit processor v use. also
the difficulty of computation of N nos presents itself in many
a cases. havin faced this problem i have worked on the program
codes myself and have come out with suitable codes satisfyin the
N bit N nos in most cases.the codes are presented for ur reference.
the codes are in various stages of completion and the best and
the most efficient code can be formed only with ur constructive
inputs.so check them out and give feedbacks if possible thus
embody the spirit of open source code or knowledge sharing.

also there arises needs for discussion on some topics that are
taken in the class or what v have studied in previous sems to
arrive at suitable answers.i would also take space here to present
some of my views and doubts on various topics.u are invited to
present ur comments on the topics at least to enhance my
understanding on the topics.
